A gold beacon marks your drop-off. The arrow at the edge of the screen points the way when it is behind you.
Get there and press E again. Deliver promptly for a time bonus, and chain deliveries for a streak.
The planet is a sphere — you can never walk off the edge, and the shortest route sometimes goes over a mountain.
